About
I grew up travelling between states, throughout the east and west coasts before moving to Kansas. Being entirely honest, Kansas isn't the best place necessarily to take a photography class since there isn't a whole lot to take photos of, but I digress. Both of my parents have higher-level education in the arts and were the first on both sides of my family to do so. Therefore, there's definitely parental influence in whatever career I decide to go into. Photography isn't entirely my thing but I was glad to give it a shot at least, it was better than switching it out for a study hall.
Art has been a pretty big part of my life, spending most my childhood in small apartment buildings or outside climbing trees, drawing was something I was big on doing around ages 4 to 10. Only recently did I consider photography art, but my mom used to let me take photos on her camera for her digital photography class so I guess I was a bit late to getting to that conclusion. I really like plants, small animals like birds and rabbits and nature in general. Landscapes are definitely my favorite kind of drawing, photo, painting, whatever.
Me being. me, I don't get out very much since I'm usually at home doing the family thing or working on homework, but I do have a bunch of plants that I enjoy taking photos of. When I can get out to take photos, nature and people are my preferred subjects, but I'm also a fan of pictures with striking contrast.
